Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the Ideona mobile application (the “App”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the App. By installing or using the App, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account information
If you create an account or sign in via Sign in with Apple, Google, or email/password, we receive your user identifier, email address (when provided), and display name (when provided). Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google LLC).
1.2 Content you create
Favorites, generated ideas, fonts and color settings you save are stored either locally on your device or in our backend so that they sync across your devices. We do not share this content with third parties except where strictly required to operate the service.
1.3 Usage and diagnostic data
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous usage metrics and crash reports (device model, OS version, app version, anonymized identifiers, crash logs). This data helps us understand how the App is used and fix issues. We do not use it to identify you personally.
1.4 Subscription information
In-app purchases are processed by Apple and verified via Apphud. We receive purchase identifiers, subscription status, and transaction metadata. We never receive or store your payment card details.
1.5 Device permissions
The App may request access to notifications and other device features. You can revoke these at any time in iOS Settings.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the App and its features (saving favorites, generating ideas, widgets).
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure, including email verification.
- To process and manage subscriptions and restore purchases.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance.
- To send transactional messages (e.g., email verification).
- To comply with applicable laws and respond to legal requests.
3. Legal Bases (GDPR)
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process your data based on: (a) performance of a contract (providing the App you requested); (b) legitimate interests (analytics, security, improving the App); (c) consent (where required, e.g., for marketing communications); (d) legal obligations.
4. Sharing of Information
We share information only with the following categories of recipients:
- Google / Firebase — authentication, analytics, crashlytics, hosting.
- Apple — App Store, in-app purchases, Sign in with Apple.
- Apphud — subscription management and analytics.
- Service providers processing data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
- Authorities when required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. If you delete your account from the App (Settings → Delete account), we remove your account and associated personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, port, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at idea-app@mail.ru. You can also delete your account directly from the App.
7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from such children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and encrypted storage of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means. The “Effective date” at the top reflects the latest revision.
